NEXT CLINIC COMING SOON!
"Just a quick note to say thank you for the incredible swim clinic. I've never received such great swim instruction and feel like it is transforming my swimming. I could not recommend it more highly!" - 2012 Swim Clinic Participant
Swimming is a sport driven by technique. All of the yardage in the world will not make you faster if you have an inefficient stroke. Join expert Swim Works instructor Brad Burnham for a highly productive clinic that will teach you the correct body position and stroke mechanics. Brad is currently the head coach at Bowdoin College, and has worked with Division I Finalists and Olympians in the past. He is on the cutting edge of technique work, and has a style of teaching that is unparalleled.
Clinics will take place at Bowdoin College's Greason Pool and will combine stroke work, underwater video, and dry land training.
Brad Burnham is the Varsity Swim Coach for Bowdoin and has experience coaching athletes from the age group level up to NCAA National and Olympic Qualifiers. His cutting edge technique work translates the science of hydrodynamics into clear and effective movements, learned through drills. By incorporating real-time underwater filming, Brad can provide instant feedback for athletes, allowing them to adjust their stroke as they progress through the clinic.

Swim Session - Brad will start with about 30-40 minutes of on-deck work, going through basic body positions. The next 30-45 minutes will be practicing drills in the water. The remainder of the time will be utilizing the underwater camera to film, in real-time, each participant and give feedback.
Limited Spots - In order to ensure that each participant is able to maximize his or her clinic experience, we will be limiting the size of the clinic. Spots will be filled on a first-come, first-serve basis and we will have a waiting list, if necessary.
What to Bring - We recommend that you bring comfortable dry land clothing (shorts, athletic shirt, sneakers) and swimming gear. You will have the chance to change between the strength and the swimming portions. There will be water availablebut you should plan to bring whatever else you need to snack on or drink.
Weather and Refunds - We will be contacting you by e-mail a few days before the clinic with further details and updates about the weather. If the weather does not permit safe driving conditions, we will cancel the clinic and either transfer your entry to the next clinic (if spots are available), put it towards the cost of a race registration, or refund your fee.
